iPhone 13 orders cancelled on Flipkart, netizens slam Big Billion Days Sale by e-commerce giant – The Economic Times

As part of Flipkart’s Big Billions Day Sale, the premium iPhone 13 was announced at as low as Rs 50,000. While this may come as good news for millions, however, some seemed not too happy. An irate set of consumers took to their social media accounts to express their dissatisfaction with Flipkart’s annual sales fest.

Hours after the backlash, Flipkart issued a statement saying that 70 per cent of its deliveries were successful and that only a minor fraction was impacted due to anomalies.

On Monday, the Internet was abuzz with the complaints of several consumers who have claimed that their iPhone 13 orders have reportedly got cancelled. Not only this, many consumers had also stated that their refund via Flipkart was taking unusually long.

Several users on social media have claimed that there is a shortage of units amid heavy demand for iPhone 13. Many have attributed the soaring demand of iPhone 13 lead to the order cancellation of many.

Meanwhile, Flipkart has issued a clarification on the issue. The brand has said that 70 per cent of orders delivered successfully and only a minor fraction of orders were canceled due to anomalies.

The ninth edition of Flipkart’s The Big Billion Days Sale is being held between September 23 and September 30. The annual sales fest by Flipkart comes with a plethora of offers on a wide range of products including consumer tech, home appliances, fashion accessories, etc. Apple products, especially iPhones, are among the biggest draws of the sales fest. The portal had announced that it will allow users to pre-book products by paying Rs 1 as a token advance.
