Background sounds are one of the many useful native features introduced in iOS 15. There are six different background sounds to choose from, including balanced, bright, or dark noise, ocean, rain, and stream. Some people prefer continuous background noise to help them concentrate on their work, sleep better, or relax. There are a number of apps and services that provide this feature.
If you have an iPhone, though, you won’t need to download any third-party apps because the device already has a background sound capability built-in. This lets users play a preset background sound indefinitely, alter the level, and more.
Instead of having its own app, the capability is found in the iPhone and iPad’s Accessibility settings. While Siri instructions aren’t compatible with the function, you may utilise the Control Center to easily access it or create an Accessibility shortcut for background sounds.
You’ll also have the option of keeping the background sound closed or allowing other media to play.
It is a little inconvenient to go to the Accessibility settings to enable this option. It is, however, a considerably superior alternative to downloading third-party software or paying a monthly membership fee for the same.
You may use the new iPhone background sounds in iOS 15 in conjunction with music and other media for a more immersive experience, which is a popular option.
STEPS TO USE IPHONE’S BACKGROUND SOUND FEATURE:
- On your iPhone, go to Settings
- Navigate to the Accessibility tab
- Look for the Background Sounds option under Audio/Visual
- Activate the function and adjust the volume
- Choose from six distinct sound effects.
