The Instagram Reels feature was launched in 2020, around the time when TikTok was banned in India. With growing dependency on short-term video formats helped Reels get popular in no time. How to download Instagram Reels
Step 1: iPhone users can either download Instadp or Igram.io app from App store. Android users can install Reels Downloader from the Google Play store.
Step 2: Once the app is downloaded, you will need to open Instagram on your smartphone.
Step 3: Head over to the Reels section in the app.
Step 4: Next, copy the link of the reels that you wish to download on your device.
Step 5: Then open the reels downloader app and paste the link of the Reel that you want to download.
Step 6: You will then need to tap the Download button.
Reels will then start downloading on your smartphone. These Reels will be stored in the phone Gallery app.
How to create Instagram Reels
In the last several months, the Meta-owned photo sharing app Instagram has added several features like stickers, music, AR stickers and much more to enhance the overall user experience for Reels.
To create and post Reels on Instagram, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Swipe right on the Instagram app and click on the Reels option at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: You will then need to hold the video player icon in the middle to record the Reel.
Step 3: You will then need to select a suitable speed, add images, stickers and music among others to the Reel.
Step 4: Preview the Reel by clicking on the Preview button to view the reel before you share it.
Step 5: To share, finally, click on the Share button to share it with all followers.
Instagram also allows you to share your posts or Reels with friends directly on Facebook.
