iPhone 14 Design: What to Expect

One significant difference will be the transition from a standard notch to a new, pill-shaped punch hole on the upper portion of the phone, where the selfie camera is. This type of change won’t affect the functionality of the phone or the camera, but it does change the look of the display.
One concept emerged where the iPhone 14 has an expanded screen that you access by physically sliding the panel out. It is impractical to think that Apple would drastically change their model in this way, though we may see something of the like in the future.

Another rumored design spec is that the chunky bump on the rear-facing camera may be eliminated to make the back of the iPhone flush.
